It's been confirmed that Damon and Jamie are visiting India next year for the upcoming album, meaning there will be influences from India in the songs and perhaps also the music videos & drawings. The following quote was taken from an interview with Damon in the newest issue of Les Inrockuptibles (French magazine)
"Once the writing [of the opera, The Magic Flute Second Chapter] is finished, I'm supposed to go to India with Jamie to start working on a new Gorillaz. And in February I'm taking Africa Express to Mexico and Colombia."
I'm currently unable to get the real source as the magazine issue seems to not have a digital version, however this quote was sourced from Damon Albarn Unofficial, so this is 99.999% real.

There's also a supposed confirmation of the album title; "Bharat", which is the word India in Hindi. This info was sourced from the fan account Gorillaz Chile, who apparently had the chance to speak with Damon about future plans.
There is no confirmation that this information is real, however.
