Exclusive limited edition print Fall bundle / more comments from Murdoc + 2D

Sorry we’re a bit late with this one… Chanticleer sends the news that there is a special Fall bundle available for order now. Priced £17.99, it includes the album on CD and a print ‘designed by Jamie Hewlett’ (which was previously seen as one of the Gorillaz Advent Calender presents, on the 9th December, here), according to the official recordstore.co.uk mailout.

Aside from 2D’s statement in the press release, there have been two further Gorillaz comments about The Fall in the last few days. On Gorillaz.com there was a news posting in which Murdoc said “”Well, this is curious…I don’t remember recording this one at all. A whole album…and nothing. But it’s got the Gorillaz name on it so I must have done it! Did I? Really? Yeah…I probably did. Did it on an iPad using all the music apps…Fatbooth, FaceAche, iBeer, InstantAlbum…all the great apps. “Great Appz”… Anyway… to all of you ‘technology lovers’ out there… the CD and digital release will be out soon. “April-ish!” Parlophone said to me… “ and via the official Gorillaz Twitter, 2D said ““If Plastic Beach was an island, The Fall is its jetty…just a nice bit of…er…wood sticking out the side” .
