Gorillaz to appear on new Snoop Dogg album?

An anonymous person sends the news that Complex magazine made a post on their website back in November last year, which was a track-by-track of Snoop Dogg’s forthcoming album, now titled ‘Doggumentary’, scheduled for release this year (2011). Apparently that Complex post was pulled very soon after it was posted.

However, it seems someone posted the text of it on an Eastern European hip hop forum:- http://forum.g-funk.eu/printthread.php?tid=76&page=37.

And the bit about the Gorillaz track says:

“Something Like This” f/ Gorillaz
Produced by: Gorillaz
Complex says: This sounds like it was done in the same session as “Welcome to the World of Plastic Beach,” the Gorillaz record Snoop was featured on earlier this year. In between, they’ve fraternized at Glastonbury, and now again on this laid-back Rastafarian jam. Snoop even dons an accent as he calls out to “party people” throughout the record. Nothing crazy, but a great mood-setter for the pre-rage.

Perhaps especially bearing in mind the article was pulled, changes could be made to the album before release and it’s not known if the Gorillaz track will make the cut.
